Everyday ritual

Flour, water, salt, time — and a neighbourhood to bake for.

We make bread slowly because it tastes better that way. Our doughs ferment through the night, developing a deeper flavour, open crumb and crust with real character.

Alongside the loaves: pastries rolled by hand, seasonal sandwiches, well-made filter and espresso, and enough room to sit for a while.

Long fermentation

Most doughs spend at least 24 hours developing flavour before they meet the oven.

Good ingredients

British flour where it performs best, cultured butter, seasonal produce and no needless shortcuts.

Baked through the day

We stagger key bakes so there is fresh bread beyond the early-morning rush.
